I was amazed by the historical charm and grandeur of the property. The castle itself is absolutely stunning and truly transports you to another era. The gardens surrounding the castle are meticulously maintained and provide a beautiful backdrop for relaxation. Despite some drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, I found the front of the hotel to be well-kept and the dining area to have a lovely ambiance.

Our "standard" room in the Villa part was shabby (flaky ceiling, holes near lights, doors needed painting etc). It was a ground floor room and we had ants on the first morning but they were removed by the staff and didnt return.

I had a delightful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was fantastic, nestled in the stunning countryside with breathtaking views. The serene atmosphere and the beautiful surrounding nature made it a truly romantic and peaceful environment. It was the perfect starting point for exploring the nearby lake and its charming surroundings.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

My two-night stay at this enchanting castle and villa was absolutely incredible! The l’Écru restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delectable cuisine, which I couldn't resist having both nights. The rooms in both the castle and villa were fabulous, despite the slight issue with the toilets. However, the warm welcome and princess-like treatment I received from the staff more than made up for it. Walking around the immaculately maintained grounds was a pure delight, with the centuries-old perfectly kept park leaving me in awe. The castle itself is simply stunning, with the exposed beams in my room adding to its charm. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff created a peaceful and refreshing vibe throughout my stay. This is the perfect place for a romantic escape or a tranquil retreat to collect one's thoughts. I can't wait to stay here again on my next trip!

Enchanting Italian castle with clean modern rooms, exposed brick and wood ceilings. Well-preserved town with picturesque outdoor areas. Lovely breakfast with a juicer for fresh juices. Friendly staff at reception, bar, and breakfast. Nice view, big room, and free parking available.

Very charming location, lots of atmosphere

We stayed three nights and saw and heard at least four wedding parties. There was loud music and noise in the garden right outside our part of the hotel every night. It was too hot in the room (no aircon) but the windows had to be kept shut because of the noise... We did not sleep well in any of the nights.

The proximity to Bellagio which is a truly beautiful place to visit where we enjoyed a delicious lunch overlooking lake Como.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location on a hill with partial lake views of the nearby lake, which was really relaxing. The breakfast was really nice, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was really friendly and accommodating to our needs. The hotel facilities are top-notch, with a big and clean swimming pool.

Both rooms we booked were a bit smelly (mould) and there were a few spiders, in the bathroom and just above the bed... But it was okay overall.

In contrary to different comments on Booked.net, we spent a very relaxing and quite 3 days in this hotel.
